A UWB leader Tzero has teamed up with the automotive entertainment giant Audiovox to deliver a new generation of Wireless High-Definition Multimedia Adapters that will relieve the customers of some unsightly cables.
The new adapters will be marketed in the summer of 2007 under the brand name ‘Terk’. The product will simplify the connections between home audio and video components using ultra wideband data transfer.
Both the companies believe that the next generation living room will be a wireless one and no one would like to have cables all around the work place and the living rooms. The companies also commented that in the coming future consumers will love to have a LCD TV or some other Flat panel display on the walls but will hate the sight of cables spoiling the whole architecture. Since the future of wireless is bright in every field.
Tzero will enable the new product to operate wirelessly at transmission speeds up to 480 Mbps that can deliver the same quality as a wired counterpart and will also ensure that the same product can be used to transfer HD content on the wireless network.
