While companies like Mission One are gracing electric motorcycles with speed, style and performance, Honda is thinking the other way around, with the company planning to debut a retro-styled all-electric version of its best-selling machine, the Super-Cub.
The EV-Cub, as the electric version has been named, could be on sale as early as next year. Honda is expected to debut the motorcycle at the Tokyo Motor Show this month. While details on the performance side are scant, the company will be introducing the motorcycle with a two-wheel-drive system that is expected to give riders better stability with more traction.
